Obama-effekten

PHILADELPHIA Senaste nytt om "Bradley-effekten" (att folk säger till en opinionsundersökare att de tänker rösta på en svart kandidat men sedan inte gör det): Något i den stilen mättes och gick faktiskt att påvisa vid vårens primärval i New Hampshire, California och Rhode Island – men en motsatt Bradley-effekt fanns i bland annat sydöstra USA, där folk inte tänkte att det ansågs politiskt korrekt att säga att de tänkt rösta på Obama.
Jag spekulerade lite om det i slutet av det här inlägget, och här kan ni läsa om detta i aningen mer vetenskapliga termer. Utdrag:

"If you call people on the phone today and ask who they will vote for, some will give responses influenced by what may be understood, locally, as the more desirable response. It is easy to suppose that these people are lying to pollsters. I don't believe that. What I think is they may be undecided and experiencing social pressure which could increase their likelihood of naming the white candidate if their region or state has a history of white dominance. They also might give the name of the Republican if the state is strongly Republican."
